We understand that sometimes things don't work out for you and you want your money back. Don't worry, as long as an item is still in its original condition, we accept returns, subject to the rules below, which include rules for fair use. None of these rules affect your statutory rights.

The return deadline is 14 days after you received the package.

If you return an item and request a refund within 14 days after the item was delivered to you or made available for pickup, we will give you a full refund with the original payment method.

We aim to refund you within 14 days after receiving the returned item.

If you request a refund for an item within the above time frames but cannot return it to us for some reason, you may contact us - but refunds will be made at our discretion.

After that?

We do not accept returns/unwanted items after the above return period. If you attempt to return it, we may have to send it back to the standard delivery address and ask you to cover the delivery costs.

Of course, it's okay to try an item on, just like you would in a store. If an item is returned to us damaged, worn or in unsuitable condition, we cannot give you a refund and may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs). All items are checked upon return. All returned items should be sent in their original condition and packaging where possible, including labels.


Returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so please make sure they are properly packaged and cannot be damaged during transport! Since the package remains your responsibility until it is returned to us, please make sure you receive proof of postage in case you need to contact us about the return.

We are not responsible for items returned to us by mistake (it happens!). If we are able to find the items (this is not always possible) and you want them returned to you, we may ask you to cover the delivery costs.

Fair use

If we notice an unusual pattern of return activity that does not match up: e.g. we suspect that someone is actually wearing their purchases and then returning them, ordering and returning a lot - much more than even the most loyal Retrokitshop customer would order, or the items being returned do not match what you ordered - then we may have to deactivate your account and any associated accounts. If this happens to you and you believe we have made a mistake, please contact our customer service and we will be happy to speak with you.

Contact our customer service if your account has been deactivated and you need to make a valid return. They will provide you with a return label, although you are responsible for the cost of returning the items to us. Please note that we reserve the right to take legal action against you if the items you return do not match what you ordered.

Can I exchange my item?

We do not offer exchanges. If you want a different size or color, you can return the unwanted item and place a new order.
